A+E, a prominent media and entertainment company, entrusted me with a multi-faceted role as a UX/UI/Graphic Designer. My primary project, the Hive +, involved the redesign of an employee portal. The objective was to infuse it with the A+E brand, enhance user-friendliness, cater to customers, and create an engaging experience.
To commence the design process, I immersed myself in the user’s perspective by logging into the portal and conducting extensive research. I diligently noted down key aspects such as functionality, architectural elements, labeling, layout styles, and the overall aesthetics.
Furthermore, I referenced the site map and utilized live wireframes to gain hands-on familiarity with the portal and experiment with innovative layout designs. In the pursuit of a user-centric approach, I reached out to employees to gather feedback on their preferences for the new portal. Armed with this valuable data, I sketched out the entire redesign, wireframed all the screens and then created the
final mockups.

Living wireframe
This paper prototype is a physical tangible wireframe that allowed us to move and reprioritize sections of the site design. This was a used in tandem with white-boarding, sketching user interactions and sketch wireframe.
